Background Screening

A new online process for having background screenings (formally SLED checks) has been implemented by our district. The paper method from previous years will no longer be used. This process will include information from all states and not just South Carolina. Parents will be responsible for the fee to get the background check. In order to volunteer at school or chaperone a field trip, this process has to be completed.

3K/4K

• 2 boxes of tissue
• 2 packs of flushable wipes
• 2 boxes of snack size Ziplock bags
• 2 bottles of hand soap
• 2 bottles of unscented hand sanitizer
• 2 containers of Clorox wipes
• 2 packs of glue sticks
• 1 box of 24 count Crayola crayons
• 1 box of 24 count colored pencils
• large bookbag (no wheels)
• 1 pair of child-size scissors
• 1 change of clothes in a Ziplock bag
• 1 pair headphones for Chromebook

5K

• 2 boxes of tissue

• 1 box of gallon size Ziplock bags
• 1 box of quart size Ziplock bags
• 2 bottles of hand soap
• 2 bottles of unscented hand sanitizer
• 1 container of Clorox wipes
• 2 packs of glue sticks
• 1 box of 24 count Crayola crayons
• 1 pack of 24 count Crayola colored pencils
• 1 pack of pink erasers
• 1 pair of child-size scissors
• large bookbag (no wheels)
• 1 change of clothes in a Ziplock bag
• 1 pair headphones for Chromebook

Montessori 1st and 2nd Grade   

• Bookbag (no wheels)
• 3 packs of 24 thin, Number 2 pencils
• 6 wide-ruled composition notebooks (black and
• white marbled type, pages do not tear out)
• 4 boxes of tissue
• 2 pack of colored pencils (Crayola 24 ct.)
• 1 8” x 11” storage style clipboard
• 1 set of (WIRED) headphones (earbuds are okay if they fit in your child’s ears) EVERYONE MUST HAVE THESE!
• 4 three-prong folders (1 green, 2 blue, 1 red - plastic)
• 1 pack of large, rectangular pink erasers
• 1 pack of Crayola markers
• 1 box of 24 count Crayola crayons
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 pack of glue sticks
• personal water bottle (with name on it) EVERYONE MUST HAVE!
• 1 pencil box
• 2 hand sanitizers
